People (HR) Operations Generalist

Responsibilities: What you’ll do

• Responds to team member inquiries timely and/or redirecting them to the appropriate People Team expert or resource
• Assists the People Team with assigned onboarding and offboarding tasks
• Supports the People Team with performance management, talent development, and team member recognition activities and administrative execution
• Supports the payroll function by ensuring the accuracy of team member data and by maintaining open lines of communication with the Sr. Compensation Accountant and other members of the People Team
• Maintains accurate employee records, HRIS data, and HR compliance
• Creates organized, efficient, and effective administrative People Team processes, forms, templates, and team member resources
• Maintains employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately with carriers and in the payroll system for accurate payroll deductions
• Assists the People Team in preparing for audits, completing benefits reporting requirements, and maintaining benefits compliance
• Prepares and arranges meetings designed to help team members obtain information and understand project44’s suite of benefits, perks, and recognition programs
• Documents and maintains administrative procedures for assigned People processes
• Aids in planning, coordinating, and hosting team member events and initiatives
• Processes employment verifications
• Performs other duties as assigned and assists with ad-hoc projects

Requirements: The experience you should have

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in human resources administration and/or operations, delivering a high-quality experience for team members
• A PHR®, PHR®, or SHRM® is a plus
• SaaS company experience or start-up environment is a plus but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• HRIS data administration experience required – UltiPro is a plus
• Benefits carrier portal experience preferred, but not required
• Detail-oriented and organized, with attention to accuracy
• Top-notch communicator and team player, always willing to collaborate with others
• Autonomous, self-disciplined, proactive, and solutions-focused with experience excelling in a dynamic, fluid, and fast-paced environment
• Results-driven, responsive, and adaptable
• Quickly able to establish rapport and build trusting relationships
• Able to obsess over the customer, practice real talk, roll up your sleeves, your actions live up to words, and you share the wheel
