Weâve set out to transform video in the classroom and make it not just a tool for remote learning, but an integral part of every studentâs education.
About this role
As we set out to achieve our ambitious goals, we need to hire the best talent and create the conditions for our employees to thrive. What you'll do:
- Create a positive and memorable experience for all of our candidates. You will conduct phone screens, help schedule interviews, and collect + organize feedback from interviewers.
- Work with hiring teams to identify opportunities to improve hiring processes and the candidate experience, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will also track hiring metrics like time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and diversity data to ensure weâre on track to meet goals.
- Post jobs to our careers page and cross-post on different job boards and hiring platforms.
- Help order equipment for new employees and support them from their journey from âoffer acceptedâ to âDay 1â and beyond. This will include managing our Buddy system for all new hires, and coordinating welcome cards and swag boxes to be sent.
- Support the People Ops Manager with employee engagement initiatives like company retreats, events, and celebrations.
- Work on administrative tasks related to performance reviews, compliance, benefits, and compensation.
- Assist in managing Screencastifyâs office, located at 333 N Green St Chicago, IL 60607. This includes: vendor management, registering guests, coordinating access badges for new employees, and working with building staff to resolve issues that may arise. You will not be required to be in the office every day and you wonât have to do the dishes or take out the trash. đ
- Be a champion of Screencastify culture
You're perfect for this role if you:
- You have 1-2 years experience working in People Ops / HR or an administrative function
- Youâre passionate about employee experience and/or recruiting, and want to jumpstart your career in People Ops / HR or Recruiting
- Youâre well organized and able to balance multiple priorities at once
- Youâre curious, empathetic, and kind
