Are you a problem solver? Do you have a passion for building process from the ground up?

Groupon’s mission is to become the daily habit in local commerce and fulfill our purpose of building strong communities through thriving small businesses by connecting people to a vibrant, global marketplace for local services, experiences and goods. In the process, we’re positively impacting the lives of millions of customers and merchants globally. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. If you want to take more ownership of your career, then you're ready to be part of Groupon.

As the Talent Acquisition Programs team, we play a key role in the success of Groupon’s Global Talent Acquisition organization. We are the ‘Center of Excellence’ for recruiting and are comprised of teammates from University Relations (UR), Operations (Ops), and Employer Brand (EB). Together, we champion everything from candidate attraction, our award-winning campus recruiting program, to operational efficiency across all geographies.

As a Global Project Manager, Talent Operations, you will be responsible for managing projects within Groupon’s TA organization in support of our global TA goals. Whether working on projects big or small, you will focus on implementing operational efficiencies to improve, build, and integrate capabilities within the Global TA function.

We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact. We're curious, fun, a little intense, and kind of obsessed with helping local businesses thrive. Does that sound like a compelling place to work?

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Project manage key global Talent Acquisition initiatives including creating and maintaining business process flows, conducting business impact analysis, and recommending and executing creative solutions that support TA’s department goals and initiatives

  • Project manage and drive business process improvement/analysis with cross-functional teams

  • Influence strategic planning and staffing by providing operational insights to the TA Leadership Team through analytics and reporting

  • Build TA training content that supports recruitment productivity and development

  • Work with TA Leadership to conduct thorough research and make sound recommendations on future recruiting tools and systems

  • Partner with internal clients to continually assess the effectiveness and scalability of the programs and changes

  • Be a process ‘guru’ who can see the way we work and drive continuous improvement across global TA

  • Effectively communicate plans, progress, and wins with internal partners

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in TA operations or an equivalent recruiting role

  • You have global experience with recruiting processes, systems, tools and programs with a deep understanding of a recruiting life cycle

  • You have the ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve complicated, high-impact operational issues

  • You are a proven problem-solver and critical thinker

  • You're able to analyze data and performance metrics and conduct root cause analysis

  • You're agile and lean; you don't add process for the sake of process, instead, you make meaningful and efficient change

  • You have demonstrated strong collaboration skills, with the ability to maintain relationships with and influence various levels of stakeholders, including VP and C-level executives

  • You understand details and how they affect the bigger picture

  • You have solid data visualization and analytical skills with Excel

  • You have experience in scoping, leading, and delivering complex projects

  • You have strong presentation and communication skills

  • You have experience receiving assignments in the form of long-range goals and objectives, define methods to meet objectives and deliver results

  • Change management skills and experience a plus
