About The Role

The Recruiter is truly the voice and face of Yello in many ways. This position will need to balance being a brand ambassador with working as a researcher to uncover highly sought after talent. The People Team sees this position as a well-rounded generalist in the Recruiting function; someone who has played the role of both ‘Hunter’ and ‘Farmer’ and understands the value of practicing both.

As a Recruiter, you embody our mindset that “People Matter”, keeping the candidate experience top of mind throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Manage all phases of the recruiting process in order to achieve hiring goals
  • Build strong talent pipelines of both active and passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques 
  • Act as a hiring consultant to our team: Build relationships with hiring managers, assist in budgeting headcount, conduct interview training, and consult on best practices
  • Maintain involvement in the Chicago tech community by attending and hosting industry events
  • Provide feedback and insight into the solutions that Yello provides to its clients as a subject matter expert/user

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment either internal to a company or through an agency 
  • Experience with creative sourcing techniques and Boolean search
  • Proven ability to meet hiring deadlines and fill a high volume of roles in the areas of sales, customer success, operations and marketing
  • A consultative mindset 
  • Passion for recruiting tools and technology
  • Someone who honors the process of structured interviews to remove opportunities for bias
  • A critical thinker who can filter through candidate profiles to uncover the diamonds in the rough and make quick, but thoughtful decisions in the recruiting process
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills; Possesses the ability to actively listen to the candidate through the recruiting process in order to support and counsel the candidate and the hiring manager
