About the role:

We are looking for a super organized self-starter to join the Mac & Mia family as a Recruiting Coordinator. As our new Recruiting Coordinator you will help us continue to drive the rapid growth of our awesome sales team. You’ll be responsible for scheduling a volume of interviews on a weekly basis, handling the coordination of interviews and database management, as well as screening candidates for the stylist role. You will be an integral part of driving the continued success of Mac & Mia.

In this position, you will gain early exposure to our HQ team and be encouraged to lead process improvement projects that will have a direct impact on our culture, our candidates, and our business, giving you plenty of internal visibility and recognition from day one. As a Mac & Mia Recruiting Coordinator you will:

  • Schedule all phone and on-site interviews
  • Oversee calendar management (often in different time zones)
  • Ensure prompt follow-up and communication with candidates from initial contact through to start date
  • Enter and track candidate information in our recruitment database
  • Process new hire documentation including offer letters and employment contracts
  • Fully understand our DNA to sufficiently screen and interview potential candidates
  • Help us continue to build the best team in the children’s apparel space

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a track record of success recruiting in a sales-driven organization
  • Ability to phone screen dozens of inbound candidates each week for the outside sales role
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a high pressure, start-up environment
  • Have an understanding of, and an affinity for, the retail landscape
  • Must be able to manage recruiting resources, such as job boards and databases
  • Possess excellent writing and communication skills
  • Must be organized and pay attention to detail

Candidates must also pass a background check for employment purposes.
