Our Talent team recruits and supports the people at VillageMD who enable our organization to lead transformational change in healthcare. We’ve recently partnered with Walgreens, and through this partnership have forged a collaboration to offer a transformative primary care experience. Branded Village Medical, these state-of-the-art primary care clinics will provide comprehensive primary care services to meet the full suite of patient needs in their communities and neighborhoods. In addition to neighborhood clinics co-located with Walgreens, Village Medical is also growing rapidly at traditional primary care locations as groups of primary care physicians join the Village Medical Group. 

We are looking for a Research Associate who will drive market specific search strategy in partnership with our in-market Business Development teams. In this newly created role, you will develop a repeatable and executable research blueprint that is focused on driving brand awareness in our emerging and existing markets. This person will conduct extensive market research, competitive intelligence and talent mapping to identify opportunities to maximize our presence in a market and reach our target audience: family practice and internal medicine physicians and APPs interested in transitioning to a value based care model. You’ll work closely with a recruiting partner who will execute against these strategies by developing relationships and conducting outreach according to the strategic plan. This is a fast-paced role with a high-growth company and a fun and exciting team. You may need to jump in to support other priorities and new initiatives across our Talent Acquisition and Business Development teams at times, so flexibility and a desire to get stuff done is critical to success.

Some examples of work you will own in this role:

  • Creating robust search strategies that will attract our ideal provider candidate profiles across markets
  • Conducting research to map new and existing markets and generate candidate names and profiles
  • Identifying competitors across markets, understanding competing value propositions, and developing prospect lists for targeted outreach campaigns
  • Contributing to the knowledge base of the team by providing education on national and market-specific partnership opportunities and talent pools/profiles to pursue
  • Building out appropriate talent networks across our markets and tapping knowledgeable industry sources to develop an initial pool of candidates in new markets
  • Consistently capturing accurate market and candidate data and maintaining across the company’s knowledge systems
  • Working in close collaboration with recruiting partner on market-specific strategies to create feedback loop, course-correct and innovate as needed to maximize opportunities for brand awareness and visibility in the market

What you bring to VillageMD:

  • 3 - 5+ years of research experience at a market insights firm, and/or executive search firm
  • Experience advising and influencing others through data
  • Excitement and passion for healthcare and being part of a close-knit, entrepreneurial team
  • Extreme flexibility and the desire to be a key contributor to an energetic and passionate talent team
  • A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgement, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and common sense
  • Bachelor’s degree required
