Position Overview
As a member of the Echo Global Logistics Talent Acquisition leadership team, you will be responsiblefor the recruitment strategy ofEcho'sSales &High Volumerecruiting effortsincluding leading and developing a team ofsalesrecruiters.
Reporting to the head of Talent Acquisition, you will leverage your experience and expert knowledge to develop recruiting strategies and empower your team to deploy the right recruiting and sourcing tactics to position us to compete for talent. You will seek and leverage data to ground your knowledge andthinking, andimprove recruiting outcomes. As a TA leader for afast growingorganization, we will lean on your leadership and creative thinking to help attract and engage the right talent for Echo. In addition to your ability to collaborate and develop strong partnerships at all levels, you will also play a critical role in growing and developing the capabilities of the Talent Acquisition team. This includes working with your peers to identify optimization and development opportunities that continuously improve our business outcomes, and grow, engage, and motivate the team. More specifically, you will be asked to coach and develop our team's skills in sourcing, candidate engagement, employment branding, and other areas.
You'll take a proactive approach in connecting with the business to identify current and future needs and opportunities to position your team and Echo for success. You'll leverage your skills in managing hiring initiatives and projects to deliver great recruiting outcomes, and actively engage and partner with leaders to achieve collective wins. Most importantly, you'll leverage your strong communication and collaboration skills to keep team and key stakeholders aware and engaged in our efforts and our challenges.
Responsibilities
- LeadSales and High Volumerecruiting andateam ofSalesrecruitersfor North America hiring.
- Develop overarching recruiting and sourcing strategies for client groups you support.This may include better ways to target the active and passive market such as job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, digital and non-digital recruitment marketing, name/lead generation, target lists, migratory trends, etc.
- Coach and develop team skills and competencies (recruiting strategy, sourcing, candidate engagement, client management, etc.) to meet various business needs.
- Cultivate a candidate centric culture and drive higher standards of client engagement to improve recruiting outcomes and partnerships.
- Take a data driven and project driven approach to recruiting to drive higher standards, smarter strategies, and greater recruiting results.
- Optimize current recruiting and sourcing resources while bringing new ideas to the team.
- Define and communicate core recruiting performance standards and metrics to measure individual and team success.
- Leverage market, industry, and candidate knowledge to identify recruiting opportunities, and develop strategies and tactics compete for talent.
- Find ways to stay connected and keep a pulse on the talent market and network (meetups, recruiting events, social user groups, etc.)
- Partner with business leaders to gather input and continuously educate on the process, roles, and responsibilities with emphasis on exploring ways to enhance the overall functions' effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability.
- Utilize internal and external sources to develop competitive intelligence (sourcing methods, hiring practices, salary information, etc.); share intelligence with business partners and leverage that information to develop candidate pipelines.
- Communicate recruiting success and regularly report recruiting stats against company hiring needs.
- Grow and promote the Echo employment brand.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recruiting experience required.
- 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing a team required.
- Bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.
- Experience in developing recruiting strategies and managing hiring projects required.
- Strong sourcing skill set with ability to teach specialized sourcing strategies and tactics to build candidate pipelines preferred.
- Strong relationship building and client management skills required.
- Experience in leveraging data and metrics to manage performance standards and improve business outcomes required.
- Proficient to expert knowledge in recruiting and sourcing tools and methods, including ATS, CRM, social,etcrequired.
- Proficient to expert knowledge in end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, and sales and candidate engagement techniques required.
- Demonstrated success in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks
- Strong analytical and creativeproblem solvingskills.
- Compelling interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to cultivate a visible presence and the savvy to interact and influence with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Thrive in a fluid, fast paced, andever changingenvironment, andhas the ability tocontinuously learn and understand how internal and external factors impact decisions.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite skills preferred.
Work environment/physical demands summary:
This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
