Job Description

As a Payroll US Lead,  you will be to supporting our SAP HCM & Payroll environments, and peripheral systems that are involved to create the current and future platform. In this role, you will be a key contributor to translating requirements provided by stakeholders and providing tasks and guidance to the developers and support teams. This role will support business enhancements as well as strategic initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Configuration of the following US Payroll and Benefit components: wage types, gross payroll, deductions, tax authorities, and tax models, health plans, insurance plans, savings plans, flexible spending plans and integration of benefits with payroll, garnishments, posting to accounting and 3rd party remittance, custom payroll schemas and rules, remuneration forms using transaction PE51, off-cycle processing, and Payroll Control Center (PCC).

  • Provide production support for bi-weekly payroll. Included in production support is quickly analyzing and providing solutions for problems found during a live payroll cycle. Assisting in payroll year-end activities and payroll adjustments for W-2 processing. Implementation of SAP notes as they relate to system maintenance and problem resolutions. Installation of BSI TUBS.

  • Act as liaison between business owners and technical teams to communicate changes as they relate to project/ticket updates, preparation, data analysis, documentation, and training.

  • Designing and maintaining interfaces with 3rd party vendors for benefits, ACH, and check payments and taxes. 

  • Creating testing data using Epi-Use Data Sync Manager, comparing payroll results using Epi-Use Variance Monitor, and creating reports using Epi-Use Query Manager. 

We’re looking for people who have

  • Experience and or certification with Successfactors Employee Central( EC) and Employee Central Payroll(ECP) is desirable.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR IT experience

  • At Least 2 life cycles projects from Blueprinting to Go-live. Multiple years of production support facilitating year end activities.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills applied in a constantly changing fast paced environment.

  • Experience working with both offshore teams as well as third party vendors preferred. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, related field or equivalent experience. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred. MBA is a plus.

  • Knowledge of SAP (particularly related to payroll and workforce administration) is preferred.
