The Role:

The Senior HRBP is responsible for aligning business operations with HR practices across all Paro teams. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will deliver on projects including tech enhancements, manager trainings, HR process improvements, etc. The Senior HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the People Team’s financial position and its short/long-term goals. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the organizational People strategy and supporting policies to ensure business and people goals are achieved
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, working closely with the management team to enable them to deliver their business plans
  • Design, plan and lead strategic change and organization design interventions from concept to effective execution utilizing proven planning and project management skills
  • Drive change management projects, specifically new system research/new L&D initiatives
  • Conduct meetings with respective business units leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as necessary
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with Paro’s legal counsel as needed/required
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Coach and support managers to drive performance and engagement in their teams, and increase productivity and retention
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
  • Provide guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identify training / continuous improvement for business units and individual executive coaching needs
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Ensure that all training objects are met
