Senior HR Generalist

It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Senior HR Generalist to the People Team.
Reporting to the VP of People, the Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for both strategic and administrative aspects of HR operations, including managing employee changes, on/offboarding processes, employment law compliance, compensation/benefits administration, employee relations, and employee development programs. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for operationalizing all things People.
As the Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:
Providing HR expertise, coaching, and guidance to all Hireologists
Building/monitoring success metrics, processes, and reporting for HR operations
Developing and executing People Team goals to address business gaps
Managing, refining, and administering processes for employee events such as onboarding, offboarding, leaves and employment changes
Owning the HRIS administration and ensuring system records are accurate and reliable
Ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws, including law changes/updates and running periodic audit processes
Running and refining the performance review processes for the company
Solving employee relations issues
Assisting with strategic benefits planning, and administering benefits/benefits compliance, including managing relationships with providers and our benefits broker
Acting as a strategic business partner for our Talent Acquisition, Administrative and Learning, and Development teams, sharing information and insights relevant to their roles
Assisting the Finance team with payroll administration through updating employee records, approving benefits elections and providing other payroll change information
Supporting other areas of the business with HR and people-related reporting requests as needed

Okay, we’ve laid out what the job is - now are you qualified? Here are the minimum qualifications we’re looking for in a Senior HR Generalist:
BA/BS degree
4+ years HR Generalist experience
PHR or SHRM-CP required
Extremely proficient with navigating and managing an HRIS, some experience with HRIS implementation preferred
Proficient with general office suite software - email systems, document creation, slides, excel/sheets, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws, including experience with California employment law
Demonstrated understanding of processes required for employee changes such as new hires, job changes, leave management and offboarding
Experience planning, managing and executing large-scale HR projects
Demonstrated understanding of benefit plan administration
Experience managing and providing solutions for employee relations issues
Demonstrated understanding of how to operate with the highest level of discretion
Excellent interpersonal and public-facing communication skills, with the ability to style-flex as needed to communicate with all levels inside and outside the company
Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
Experience successfully scaling processes and programs within a high-growth company
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals at all levels
