Reporting to the VP of HR, Chief Diversity Officer, the DEIA Sr. Manager will partner cross functionally to ensure that we provide equal opportunities to candidates and employees regardless of their protected characteristics. This role is responsible for defining DEIA guidelines and metrics that align with legal standards, company values, behaviors, DEIA initiatives, in-house policies, and best practices. The DEIA Sr. Manager is also responsible for researching, implementing, documenting, communicating, and assessing DEIA practices across the organization. This individual will be responsible for partnering with the CDO and functional leadership to effectively set metrics and deploy DEIA programs/policies/practices.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal employee resource groups and diversity leadership council to design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion programs
  • Partner with CDO and HRBP team to design company policies and practices that reinforce diversity, equity, and inclusion and strive to remove bias in the workplace
  • Help craft and drive culture and inclusion programs, from inception to launch and retrospective, including measurement of results
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion programs across the organization
  • Liaison between legal and HR to inform and guide DEIA decisions
  • Review, update, document, and communicate internal policies, guidelines, and practices
  • May lead or assist with DEIA compliance activities related to internal and external policies, laws, and regulations, such as Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
  • Partner with leadership and HR colleagues to investigate and address DEIA concerns
  • Identify and recommend guidance related to DEIA opportunities and risks
  • Educate and train the HR team and Business Partners on DEIA issues affecting their functions
  • Review and analysis DEIA data and determine relevant trends, patterns, and key focus areas to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
  • Build customized people initiatives that accelerate change: master the art of building, deploying, and/or facilitating high-impact, laser-focused initiatives that realize clear value.
  • Serve as change management support and deploy effective change management strategies, communications, and training in support of DEIA change
  • Orchestrate cross-functional alignment around DEIA efforts within the HR ecosystem: Talent Acquisition, OD, Learning & Development, Compensation, etc
  • Manage partnerships with DEIA Learning vendors and external DEIA-related speakers, including logistics and communications support
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with industry associations, groups and partners relevant to supporting our DEIA projects
  • Continually build knowledge of the DEIA landscape and emerging issues and opportunities, and communicate them as relevant to management and partners

Education and Experience
State the minimum education, experience, skills, and certifications/training required to successfully perform the job.

  • 10+ years of Human Resource experience with at least 2 years of working experience within a DEIA corporate capacity.
  • At least 3 years project management experience
  • Leadership presence: resilience, consultative style, & ability to articulate complex ideas into simple terms
  • Experience leading or guiding employee led diversity and inclusion ERG groups
  • Progressive approach to HR/DEIA practices
  • Experience with researching and creating DEIA programs for underrepresented and underserved populations
  • Proven experience engaging and influencing senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience leading partnerships with Corporate Social Responsibility, Org Design/Effectiveness, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting, and Total Rewards
  • Demonstrable experience developing partnerships both externally and with team members and business leaders, particularly in helping them manage significant organizational change during periods of realignment and growth

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $80,000 - $100,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined?here.
