cleverbridge is seeking a Senior Manager Employee Communications (m/f/d) to lead the development and implementation of employee communication strategy to continually keep our global teams informed, engaged and aligned with our business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, driven communicator who wants to be at the heart of cleverbridge's transformation and activation of our recently defined Purpose and Brand.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Management Committee and will regularly collaborate with the broader People Operations team, IT, Marketing and other functional leaders to ensure a strong alignment between our communications efforts, our culture, our business journey and the overall employee experience.

The ideal candidate will bring well-rounded experience in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring information for employees in a global company. In this role, you will help employees understand and connect to our purpose, mission, strategy and business priorities and will develop news, digital content, leadership messages and updates from a variety of functional teams. You will also manage our internal blog – Under the Bridge.

This position sits within our newly-formed People Operations department reporting to our Director Workplace & Community.

Your Responsibilities

First 6 Months:

  • Audit the current communication landscape and assess employee communication preferences
  • Building on existing practices, define an employee communications strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and maintain the content strategy for our internal digital hub, SharePoint, and our company blog, Under the Bridge.
  • Work with senior leaders to prepare a variety of communications, including organizational announcements, leadership talking points, news stories, internal blogs, all hands presentations, change communications, etc.
  • Partner closely with VP People and the Executive Management Committee to support the internal launch of our company Strategy and Purpose

First Year:

  • Consult with leaders to facilitate a regular cadence of relevant functional/business updates
  • Establish an efficient, cross-functional production process and optimize our communication channels.
  • Facilitate a proactive and consistent flow of multi-channel communications
  • Collaborate with Employee Experience to embed listening mechanisms and the voice of employees in communications

Second Year & Beyond:

  • Partner with Marketing to align internal and external communication strategies; infuse communications with customer stories to help employees realize their impact on the people we serve
  • Support Talent Acquisition and Marketing teams to develop our employer brand and employee value proposition
  • Collaborate with IT to modernize our digital communication landscape
  • Implement technologies to improve the effectiveness of communications
  • Target and personalize content for specific audiences
  • Monitor and report on key metrics to guide decisions and demonstrate impact

 

Your Background

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in internal communications (multi-national experience strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills
  • Passionate and compelling storyteller
  • Understands and embraces intercultural differences
  • Operates effectively with both senior and frontline stakeholders
  • Experienced in change and crisis management
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable
  • Highly organized and disciplined; results-oriented
  • Familiar with the latest communication tools and tactics
  • Self-starter with a sense of ownership and accountability
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment
