Primary Responsibilities

The Senior Talent Acquisition Strategist (Warehouse Operations & Logistics) works closely with the Talent Acquisition Operations team, HR Operations team, and Operations Leadership to develop and direct strategic sourcing strategies and programs (such as social media campaigns, talent communities, lead generation tools, recruiting analytics and reporting) that unlock new labor pools and drive data-driven sourcing and selection for the high-volume front-line workforce in the warehouse and transportation functions at KeHE.

Essential Functions

  • Act as the subject matter expert to develop, design, implement, and support high-volume operations recruiting strategies for front-line warehouse and transportation roles.
  • Work closely with HR and business leaders inside KeHE to understand future hiring needs and proactively design sourcing strategies and programs to meet these needs.
  • Establish and maintain consistent high-quality relationships and networks to keep up with market trends and to support current and future talent sourcing strategy at KeHE.
  • Design a program for using social media campaigns and networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TicTok, and Twitter) to source and connect with potential candidates.
  • Open and cultivate new candidate pipelines for front-line operations talent.
  • Use market data to inform and drive a driven sourcing strategy and approach.
  • Present to HR and Business leadership to make recommendations regarding sourcing strategy.
  • Source candidates at multiple levels and ensure new hires understand KeHE's unique culture.
  • Develop a schedule to support the talent acquisition team with routine candidate follow-ups.
  • Measure and report on recruiting metrics to demonstrate ROI of date-driven sourcing strategies
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Persuasive with creative ideas for attracting talent.
  • Strong Analytical, research and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop highly effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to manage and manipulate data
  • Ability to use PowerPoint to communicate information and guide decisions
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives at a time
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to KeHE locations to participate in sourcing opportunities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple locations to execute a sourcing strategy

    Proven competencies include: Strategic sourcing, program design, candidate screening and assessment, candidate experience delivery and recruiting and staffing resources.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field OR a combination of 5+ years Talent Acquisition function, 8+ years of experience preferred.
  • Candidate sourcing experience including creating and maintaining end to end strategies that develop current and future talent pools.
  • Experience with various sourcing channels including online resources (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, niche sites), ATS, and/or HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with use of social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TicTok, and Twitter) and resume databases to source candidates
  • Food industry or warehousing or related experience preferred
