Overview of the role:

Kazoo is looking for an experienced Sr. Recruiting Coordinator to drive, manage and fill internal roles. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a vital role in partnering with hiring managers to help build and find the best talent for their team while coaching candidates through the interview/offer process.

What you'll do:

  • Develop recruiting strategies and actively identify and screen individuals for technical and professional roles
  • Continually evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate and grow target candidate pools of top talent.
  • Understand, document, and track recruiting data using our ATS, including reporting on requisition and recruiting activity.
  • Coach key stakeholders on the best and most appropriate next steps
  • Determine applicant qualifications by understanding job requirements and comparing to candidate qualifications.
  • Build relationships with your candidates to understand their key motivations and assess cultural fit
  • Coordinate in-person and phone interviews with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively recruit/headhunt candidates from job sites and networking.
  • Answer candidates’ questions regarding offer terms and benefits; manage candidate on-boarding
  • Develop and manage relationships with recruiting search firms
  • Small portion (~20%) of this roles responsibilities also include HR Administrative tasks, Data Entry & Organization, & assisting with the new hire and onboarding process.

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 
  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, Administrative, Customer Service, or other similar roles. 
  • Prior corporate and/or search firm progressive recruiting experience, including sourcing and full life-cycle recruiting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to use good judgment in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) experience including tracking and managing candidates.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to develop clearly defined plans of action including deliverables, milestones and a formal tracking process
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and use data to influence leaders
  • Experience with an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now, a HUGE plus
  • Experience hiring engineering and other technical roles, also a HUGE plus
