The Corporate and Commercial Talent Acquisition Director must be the most passionate brand champion and advocate for our culture and values. This critical role is responsible for the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies that maximize recruiting efficiency and secure high caliber, diverse talent for the organization. This position will lead a team focusing on brand, sourcing, candidate experience, technology, measurement, and process improvement across the organization for all levels. The role will focus on corporate disciplines and commercial selling roles in conducting a needs analysis and in developing a workforce plan or strategy to support organizational and strategic goals and objectives. The Director of Talent Acquisition will monitor the status of recruitment activities, use of tools, analyze data and trends to determine effectiveness and overall success of recruitment strategies. This role will be responsible for inspiring the Talent Acquisition team members to embrace innovative sourcing strategies and techniques, ensuring a strong focus on candidate, partner, and customer experiences.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and develop a strategic, best in class Talent Acquisition function by building engagement, capabilities, and efficiencies within the team.
  • Provide leadership, planning and management for strategic talent acquisition programs and continuous process improvements to leadership.
  • Champion the candidate experience. Lead the end-to-end recruiting process with a strong focus on brand experience.
  • Strategically work on brand or value proposition refinement to amplification internally and externally.
  • Develop, select, and evaluate recruitment tools that may include assessments, training, and third-party vendors and agencies.
  • Leverage and expand the talent network and play a key part in critical searches.
  • Evaluate key data and metrics to assess operational and service opportunities.
  • Develop a system wide workforce plan and leader profile to meet organizational goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years in leading the development and implementation of recruitment programs and creation and successful execution of a talent acquisition strategy.
  • Minimum 3-5 years direct report leadership experience.
  • Specific specialization of talent acquisition and certification from either HRCI or SHRM preferred.
  • Experience in CPG, distribution, corporate and/or commercial environments helpful.

  • Customer focused and success leader with a high level of credibility and collaboration.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendation to effective resolve emotional and complex problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.
  • Capability of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints.
  • Able to work effectively with peers and corporate leadership in a productive collaborative environment coupled with the ability to be decisive is needed.
  • Ability to travel quarterly to offsite corporate offices or employee events to achieve and support business objectives.
