We are looking for a motivated and smart Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Veritas Health to build our growing work-force. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Veritas Health, you will be responsible for proactively attracting excellent candidates with new and creative outreach efforts, college/university recruitment, career fairs, website postings and other methods.
Key Metrics to Success:
To be successful in this role, you will develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs building an entrepreneurial and hard-working staff.
Skills and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with department leaders to identify staffing needs.
• Determine selection criteria.
• Create and present selection plan, prescreening questions, assessments and interview plan to management for collaboration and review.
• Prescreen candidates via telephone and set up in-person interviews.
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details.
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements, collaborate and review with HR and other department leaders.
• Work with the Creative Department to build Veritas Health Employment Branding initiatives.
• Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
• Work with management to forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs.
• Foster long-term relationships with employment vendors, past applicants, and potential candidates.
• Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, applicant dispositions, and other recruiting activities; present detailed and error-free reports to Resources Director.
We want to talk to you if you have:
• Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to quickly understand the differences between various roles within Veritas Health.
• Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A degree in Human Resources is a plus.
• 1-3 years of staffing or recruiting experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of applicable employment-related laws and regulations.
