Centro is looking for a Talent Coordinator to join our fast paced and forward-thinking Talent & Development (HR) team. As the connector of all things Recruiting, Employee Relations and Education, the Talent Coordinator role is incredibly high-touch within the organization and the critical to supporting our Talent team. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, gritty, entrepreneurial, and thrives by creating order in chaos. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying busy, is detail-oriented and organized, and enjoys working closely with others to solve problems.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and manage complex candidate interview scheduling for the talent acquisition team, which will require extensive coordination across multiple geographies and interviewers
- Communicate interview and travel arrangements with candidates in a timely, enthusiastic, and hospitable manner with a consistent focus on providing an excellent candidate experience
- Ensure job boards and postings accurately reflect current openings
- Edit, maintain and update accurate, error-free job descriptions and postings
- Manage all onsite interviews, interview room preparation, and keeping the interviewing team organized and on schedule in Chicago and remotely
- Assist talent acquisition team with various other recruitment initiatives, such as campus career fairs, professional networking events, market research and other variable projects.
- May be asked to assist recruiters in sourcing qualified candidates for our open positions using various resources and tools, including social media, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter and campus resources, or reviewing job applications and qualifying candidates
- Create an amazing employee experience for our Centrons by being a positive and supportive presence for them during every phase of the employee lifecycle
- Be the go-to for all talent movement related to your teams. This includes HRIS Workday administration, headcount documentation and any action items required
- Facilitate the communication and execution of all internal talent movement for any change in employee status, including new hires, contractors, promotions & role changes, and departures. Track completion of tasks and accountable to ensure completeness for Talent team.
- Assist the talent team with any events or trainings, helping to plan and execute logistics
- Ensure accurate organization and placement of written materials, including anything from resumes, employee relations documentation, training materials etc.
- Execute quarterly talent reviews for your business, including QA’ing rosters, sending to the business, collecting and working with Talent Operations Analyst to ensure accurate and timely data collection
- Assist employees with day-to-day requests and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate, setup and facilitate logistics for various education events & trainings for the business. Additional help tracking attendance and completion of quiz’s as requested.
- Assist Talent team with miscellaneous needs – we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and willing to help with anything and everything!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-4 years of Administrative or HR experience, with a majority of that at a growing or startup organization a plus
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness
- Strong work ethic and an unfaltering positive attitude
- Ability to remain curious and focused even when the situation is ambiguous
- Professional communication skills and presence
- Thoughtful, proactive approach to projects
- Strong prioritization and organization skills; our business moves quickly and requires multitasking and self-direction
- Self-starter who can manage workload effectively with competing demands for time
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Trustworthiness and discretion with confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Past Recruitment or HR experience a plus
