Executive Summary

Victory Lap was founded to help individuals and companies realize their potential through high-quality sales development offerings. Companies large and small have leveraged Victory Lap’s expertise to build and develop their sales teams. Victory Lap has graduated 33 cohorts, 400+ alumni, and over 125+ hiring partners since launch in late 2016. The company’s core competencies fall within new hire training, onboarding, and on-going sales representative development. Training has been developed for leading companies in B2B and B2B spaces and in 2018, over 1,000 sales professionals in Chicago were trained by Victory Lap. 

About The Role

As the Outbound Admissions Scout at Victory Lap you will be an instrumental piece to the Admissions/Recruiting Team through proactively identifying talent for our sales bootcamps and special projects. Key components of this role will be researching and identifying top candidate profiles, managing a pipeline of candidates, attending networking events, and creatively owning the outbound funnel. 

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and customer success to gain an understanding of the market demand and candidate profiles needed

  • Work closely with marketing and admissions/recruiting teams to create innovative strategies to identify, attract, and engage candidates

  • Identify, screen and educate prospective talent on Victory Lap’s program offerings

  • Proactively build and manage a pipeline of high potential candidates

  • Act as a champion of our brand by identifying and attending recruiting and networking opportunities to attract talent

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally 1-3 years of search experience in either an agency or high volume in-house recruiting environment

  • Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, and deliver high-quality work against tight deadlines

  • A strong communicator (written and oral) who is able to effectively deliver a message to different types of personas

  • Exhibits the ability to build and implement new processes to streamline communications while keeping the candidate in mind

  • A high level of resiliency, responsiveness, and adaptability

  • Self-starter mentality you love to set personal and professional goals throughout the year

  • A continuous learner with high self-awareness and can speak to experience when persistence helped you achieve an important goal in your life or work

  • Demonstrates the ability to roll with the punches and be a creative problem solver

  • Lives with a team-first mentality
