Talent & Development Specialist
Location: Chicago, Illinois
FourKites is seeking a passionate and experienced Talent & Development Specialist to join our strategic global team. This new role is a great opportunity for an HR pro with prior experience designing and coordinating employee culture initiatives and new employee onboarding. Our top candidate will have hands-on experience with Employee Onboarding, Organization Wide Training & Programming, Instructional Design & Facilitation, Content Creation, & Culture and Community programs, including DEI programs. This is a unique opportunity for a self described employee culture and learning & development ambassador to make their mark on an international high-growth SaaS organization headquartered in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
Learning & Development
- Create and execute the quarterly Learning & Development roadmap in collaboration with Talent & Development global team
- Manage & coordinate FourKites New Employee Onboarding sessions, our multi-day new hire Bootcamp experience
- Plan and coordinate organization wide training sessions each quarter to advance our 6 Learning & Development tracks
- Create, update, and audit training content, curriculum, and other learning solutions
- Administer, schedule, and assign learning, and run reports within our Learning Management System Mindtickle
- Coordinate and communicate with department Learning & Development representatives for alignment on learning priorities for the organization
Culture, Community & DEI
- Create and execute the quarterly Culture & Community roadmap in collaboration with Talent & Development global team
- Own the creation, promotion and content analysis for our monthly Culture & Community media outlets including our virtual employee newsletter, videos and Slack channels
- Design, plan and coordinate in person and virtual company culture events
- Design, plan and coordinate in person and virtual DEI events
- Manage employee swag distribution and associated vendor relations related to culture and community initiatives
- Manage employee recognition and rewards programming, distribution, & tools/software
- Lead Culture of Connection Monthly task force meeting including agenda, priorities and execution of action items
Required Education & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in general human resources, learning and development, or delivering talent management solutions
- Experience with instructional design and software for content creation
- Advanced level ability to create templates, surveys, presentations and technical documentation using Microsoft Office applications, Survey Monkey, and other tools
- Experience with Learning/ Talent Management Systems
- Experience implementing, creating, and facilitating large training sessions & programming
- Familiarity with video programming and editing software
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Experience in high-growth or tech industry highly preferred
