The Vibes’ Talent Team is a group of curious, consultative, and strategic business partners. We focus on lending a people-first, data-driven approach to all aspects of business operations. Vibes is seeking a people-oriented, analytical Talent Manager to support recruitment and a compassionate, metrics-oriented approach to Talent.

This critical role will collaborate with the broader Talent Team to support talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and leadership development at Vibes. This role will also support the “Talent Metrics” Center of Excellence for the organization, using data to provide analysis and recommendations to help advance company growth and success. The ideal candidate will have experience with candidate sourcing, people operations, coaching, and data analysis. Experience working in SaaS and/or the technology industry preferred.

This position reports into the Director of Talent & Development and will be located in Chicago at our 300 W. Adams Street location.


Talent Acquisition

  • Source strong candidates for Technology, Product and Finance roles to advance Vibes’ growth and diversity hiring plans
  • Lend insight on candidates through resume review, conduct phone screens and participate in onsite interviews; after fully ramped, own full-cycle recruitment for junior- to mid-level Technology, Product, and Finance roles
  • Develop strategic and effective talent acquisition processes; create documents and plans to support recruitment (i.e. job descriptions, interview scorecards, question sets for each interview stage)
  • Create and maintain a best-in-class experience for all candidates

HR Business Partner

  • Act as the go-to talent partner for junior- to mid-level technology, product, and finance team members
    • Innovate and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives
    • Provide administrative support for on-boarding/off-boarding, scheduled performance reviews, employee engagement, and manager development
  • Contribute to work promoting a strong employment brand for Vibes in the Chicago technology community; partner closely with Employment Brand “Center of Excellence”

Talent Metrics

  • Provide analytical support on People Metrics to the Vibes’ Talent and Executive Teams; analyze established data sets, ideate new areas of measurement
  • Use data to make recommendations for the business based on accurate analysis and well-reasoned arguments
  • Seek and earn responsibility for thought leadership, innovation, and evolution within broader Talent Team initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in full-cycle talent-acquisition for multiple stakeholders/roles
  • Experience with role- and/or organizational-design
  • Proven track record of creating strategic business value through data
  • Proven history of garnering cross-functional insights, driving change through strong advocacy across levels, and learning new skills
  • Must be forward-thinking and strategic
  • Driven by our core values: teamwork, continuous learning, adaptability, and quality
  • Extraordinary team player and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where quality, innovation, speed of decision-making and execution are critical to organizational success
  • Bachelor’s degree in business- or people-related discipline 
  • Experience managing a team preferred
