We’re seeking a Technical Recruiter responsible for identifying, recruiting, screening, and presenting good candidates for technology positions, and collaborating with hiring managers to develop technical strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Write and post technical job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen Technical resumes
  • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, and other forms of communications
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers
  • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
  • Vets potential employees' credentials
  • Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
  • Compose job offer letters
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
  • Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions
  • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For in a Candidate

  • 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience in technology space
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. Google Meets, and structured)
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles (Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient in G-Suite and database systems 

Nice to Have Experience

  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree
  • Experience working for a rapidly growing startup, and managing change
  • Experience in financial services, fintech and/or crypto
