Our Talent team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team to build and lead our recruiting process and social media initiatives, including company profiles on websites such as BuiltIn Chicago, Glassdoor and LinkedIn. This is a high impact role at an early stage company responsible for all hiring needs across all teams and experience levels as the company continues to rapidly grow.

The Technical Recruiter will report to the Head of Talent Development and will be responsible for collaborating with hiring managers to screen and source candidates, building our social media presence, and proactively contributing to talent development activities beyond recruiting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements for all open positions
  • Create a recruiting process and implement recruiting strategies to attract, recruit, and select candidates
  • Create job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews and phone screen candidates
  • Creatively source candidates through networking, referrals, and events, and recruit across all teams and experience levels from new graduates to senior level roles
  • Develop interview best practices and train interviewees accordingly
  • Consistently communicate with hiring managers to provide data-driven insight that will help evolve the hiring process
  • Determine skill level, make recommendations, and manage the offer process, including offer negotiation, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/ declines
  • Manage the candidate process from start until hire (including working with the legal team for candidates requiring H1B sponsorship)
  • Manage the company’s social media accounts and help build a strong online presence for Braviant
  • Recommend and lead process improvement initiatives, as needed
  • Participate in or lead special projects as assigned
  • Be an ambassador for Braviant

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Self-starter with problem-solving mindset
  • Operate with a sense of urgency at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working through a full recruiting cycle
  • A passion to learn and take on talent initiatives outside of recruiting

Location

Our company is located in the heart of downtown with great access to public transportation (both Metra & CTA), coffee shops, and restaurants. Currently our teams are working remotely for the foreseeable future.
