The Role: University Programs & Recruiting Lead

Gemini is looking for a University Programs & Recruiting Lead to play a key role in the strategic development and execution of our university recruiting strategy. If you're someone who loves to build programs and strategies from scratch, this may be the right role for you! In this role, you will use your experience designing a world-class campus/university recruiting program across different areas of the organization, for both technical and non-technical roles. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver best in class Full Time Software Developer program and Technical/Non-Technical Internship program for early career program participants, including headcount demand, curriculum, resourcing, budget, performance reviews and compensation
  • Work with interns to track individual goals and outcomes, and act as partner to the leads/mentors to bridge skills gaps along the way
  • Actively engage and update C-suite, leadership and managers on early career talent pipeline, program data and success metrics
  • Design and implement innovative university recruiting initiatives for both technical and non-technical roles, for MBAs and university students/grads
  • Develop and foster long-term relationships with universities and partner organizations
  • Lead early career recruiting efforts and run programmatic, full-cycle interview processes for both interns and new grads, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Act as a trusted and strategic partner to cross-functional teams (Hiring Managers, People Operations, Tech Ops, etc.) to ensure a smooth hiring and offboarding process for interns
  • Ensure Gemini’s university recruiting efforts are focused on inclusive hiring practices and programming
  • Schedule, plan, and/or attend recruiting events, conferences, job fairs, in-house recruiting events, info sessions, and more (both virtual and in-person, when safe to do so)  
  • Work with Marketing/Employer Branding to design swag and create a social recruiting strategy
  • Continually research trends in the Campus/Programs space; analyze and use data to measure success of Gemini’s University  programs and  identify areas of improvement

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Program Management and/or Talent Acquisition with an emphasis on University Programs
  • Experience designing creative university recruiting strategies and programs that scale
  • Experience building and implementing exciting and rewarding programming for interns and new grads
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An active and data-driven approach to measuring success and problem-solving
  • A growth mindset and ability to shift tasks and priorities easily in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to travel domestically once in-person events resume

Salary Range: In compliance with  the New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $122,000 - $170,000 in New York City. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
