We’re looking for a professional to join our Early in Career Recruiting team who wants to use their skills and ideas to attract students to careers at Cisco Meraki.

The Early in Career Recruiting team has an opening for a recruiter/sr. recruiter to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that provides the opportunity to help manage the day to day recruiting strategy and execution of talent acquisition for Early in Career hiring globally. The position includes extensive interaction with business managers, Talent Acquisition professionals, campus representatives and candidates.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with team to develop, coordinate and execute recruiting strategy for both Interns and full-time hires, including a focus on diversity, marketing, and the competitive landscape for the division
  • Attend campus, diversity, and division specific events, interview and evaluate candidates, make hiring recommendations, and manage the offer process with a focus on candidate experience
  • Work closely with on-campus diversity organizations, tech programs/bootcamp, professors and on-campus career services to ensure return on investment
  • Manage recruiting logistics, such as on-campus interviews, batch day events, securing interviewers, scheduling candidates, offer management and onboarding
  • Assist with managing relevant metrics, such as forecasting, budgets, global headcount, off cycle hiring, recruiting successes, diversity initiatives, and ad hoc projects
  • Expectation is to hire 60 to 75 EIC candidates annually (mixture of interns and full time opportunities) across software engineering teams.

Requirements Include:

  • BS/BA degree
  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • Ability to grow and manage a high quality pipeline of candidates as well as teach, coach and mentor others to be able to do the same.
  • Experience building recruiting processes from scratch using industry best practices for software engineering and product management roles in particular.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to interact with all team members and candidates with professionalism and tact; articulates ideas clearly and succinctly and deploys influence when necessary.
  • Proven competence with Microsoft Suite, Google Applications, recruiting platforms/tools and applicant tracking systems. (Greenhouse experience is a plus.)
  • Strong prioritization skills and exposure to building multiple recruiting processes.
  • Willingness to travel 40% during peak season
