Role Description:

The Vice President is responsible for designing and implementing the Talent Acquisition Roadmap and effectively running the daily recruiting operation by leveraging data, tools and technology to deliver over 2000 hires annually. With over 100 locations across the country and growing, the VP will have close partnership with their business stakeholders to build hiring strategies for both new and existing markets. In addition, the VP will partner closely with HR peers to track performance across the employee lifecycle to identify and prioritize improvement efforts and continually refine our process. The VP reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and leads a growing team of 20 professionals.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Create and manage a strategic roadmap which continually raises the bar
  • Identify and implement efforts that facilitate success in new markets
  • Build credible, trusted working relationships with managers and leaders across the organization to understand business objectives and enable success
  • Develop and manage a reporting process that creates visibility, effective communication and decision making relative to current and future needs.
  • Leverage new tools/technology to support candidate outreach, applicant tracking, and other employee selection efforts.
  • Create workforce plan that and sustains the current and future delivery of operational targets

Execution

  • Create a steady pipeline of potential talent and ensure that the organization is being recognized as an employer of choice among preferred candidates
  • Develop and nurture talent pipelines for key positions
  • Identify innovative ways to source viable candidates
  • Use and manage multiple channels/media to drive hiring efforts
  • Collaborate in the development of communication and marketing materials, including the career site and social media
  • Manage the content and effectiveness of the company website recruiting page
  • Manage and continually optimize a recruiting process from lead generation to closed hire, driving efficiency and candidate conversion with streamlined processes
  • Other duties, as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Ability to and interest in operating at both a strategic and tactical level
  • Skilled at partnering with business leaders to understand and translate business needs into actionable plans and lead execution and implementation of solutions
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team - excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with full cycle recruiting and employment branding and selection methods
  • Skill and experience managing vendors of recruitment related technologies and services
  • Ability to collect, interpret and utilize data to identify opportunities, set priorities and implement solutions
  • Excellent Microsoft / G Suite skills
  • US work authorization
