The Role
As an Implementation Consultant, you will implement the Fusion Framework System for clients across various projects. You will work closely with clients and your project team members to understand client needs and requirements, document requirements, configure the system to meet those requirements while ensuring quality deliverables.
This includes:
- Understanding and documenting customer requirements during discovery
- Writing user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases
- Designing and configuring the system to meet the client's requirements, specifically with Salesforce.com:
- Environment setup
- Configure custom objects, fields, and page layouts
- Flow and approval processes
- Formulas and validation rules
- Reports and dashboards
- Connectors setup
- Conga
- Email alerts
- User roles
- Permission sets
- Record sharing
- Security settings
- Assisting clients in migrating their existing data into the system and ensuring proper integration and organization of the data
- Providing system and platform demos
- Presenting technical solutions for business requirements during Fusion's daily Collaborative Solutions Design sessions.
- Performing QA on the stories you've built, and assisting in peer review of other stories
- Supporting project go live activities, including smoke testing and defect resolution
- Providing training and support to end users, helping them understand how to effectively use the system to manage their risk and resilience programs
- Offering recommendations and guidance on optimizing the use of the Fusion Framework System, including leveraging AI (Fusion Copilot)
- Assisting clients with troubleshooting during the implementation process
- While this role is fully remote, on-site travel will occur on an as-needed basis for, customer visits, project kick-offs, Fusion-related meetings, events, and conferences

This role interfaces with client stakeholders, risk professionals, and project managers. You will be part of a Fusion team comprised of project managers, advisors, technical project leads, and other implementation consultants.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Preferred, but not required:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Salesforce App Builder Certification
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
- Ability to be a self-starter, working independently and as part of a team, especially remotely
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating with client managers, directors, and VPs
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities effectively
- Critical thinking skills to analyze options to meet client requirements and determine the right approach
- Experience working with external clients in a project environment
Qualifications (Education And Experience)
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment (preferred but not required)
- Experience working with Jira and creating user stories (preferred but not required)
- Experience working with Salesforce in an administrative capacity (preferred but not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of relevant experience as defined by the responsibilities listed above
- Experience working within a SaaS environment
Milestones For The First Three Months
In your first month, you'll:
- Complete all Fusion onboarding & training
- Complete phase one of Implementation Consultant training. This is a 4 week, 150 hour bootcamp to prepare you to work with, and support customers.
In your second month, you'll:
- Complete phase two of Implementation Consultant training. This is a 2 week, 25 hour bootcamp which will conclude your IC training.
- Begin hands on configuration activities with the dedicated guidance of a mentor
- Become familiar with our Software Development Lifecycle
- Assist in the design and breakdown of user stories
In your third month, you'll:
- Become familiar with our Salesforce managed packages & the Salesforce development stack
- Work cross-functionally with product management, QA, and other groups within the organization
- Independently drive the successful completion of assigned work
- Provide suggestions for continuous improvement
- Escalate issues that arise during the design and development processes
