Ratings and reviews solutions from PowerReviews are essential for consumers as they search and shop online and in-store, and they are proven to increase online site-wide sales up to 17%.

The Implementation Engineer is a key member of the Product Operations team at PowerReviews. This person will partner with an Implementation Project Manager and work directly with external clients from project inception to completion, providing guidance on best practices. Additionally you will be responsible for technical troubleshooting as clients implement the PowerReviews Software. They will also work internally with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering and support.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Assist and support clients in rapidly implementing the PowerReviews software
  • Provision clients’ PowerReviews accounts and Dashboard access per individual project requirements and based on best practices
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting/debugging data feeds and configure data feed imports
  • Provide prompt responses to client questions on implementation steps and troubleshooting
  1. Be the PowerReviews expert for our clients
  • Guide clients on implementation best practices
  • Provide technical assistance in troubleshooting client-side applications written in HTML/Javascript and RESTful API integrations
  • Guide clients and assist in troubleshooting CSS issues
  • Perform testing and quality assurance of client implementations
  1. Contribute to continuous product and process improvements
  • Remain knowledgeable about improvements and new offerings in PowerReviews products and services
  • Resolve questions and problems directly through individual efforts or by triaging problems with account teams and engineering
  • Work closely with our Technical Writer to maintain and update internal process documentation
  • Work closely with product management and engineering team to maintain and update internal tooling
  • Help Product Managers define requirements for product improvements

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience is required
  • 2+ years of experience in a client facing technical position
  • Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and related web technologies
  • Outstanding communication skills; ability to communicate technical requirements to the non-technical user
  • Knowledge of Unix environments; strong user level skills
  • Knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail
  • Capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously
