What a typical week may look like:

 

The Instructional Designer will assume primary responsibility for the creation, planning, coordination, and management of Apervita customer training. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with the Customer Success, Product, and Technical leadership to develop training material and reference guides for the organization and our Healthcare Enterprise customers.

 

 What you get to do:

  • Collaborate with our customers and business leaders to identify the strategic direction of the training curriculum.
  • Responsible for the innovative training structure, content development, approach, timelines, and evaluation of customer training. Training will be based on standards, customer service best practices, and adult learning principles.
  • Design and develop training materials (online self-help tutorials, user resource library, job aids, quick reference guides, webinars, presentations) that use current learning adult and product design principles.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Customer Success SME’s on definition of customer specific training needs and development of all materials to ensure efficacy and accuracy of content. In addition, determine training requirements and strategy for deployments.
  • Select a digital tool to collect, analyze, and score the User’s knowledge of the learning experience.
  • Evaluate emerging instructional design training technology and tools via research and analysis that drive the business and user to achieve success.

Qualities you will bring to the team:

  • At least 5 years’ experience developing enterprise level training programs for our customers and internal associates using the most current training methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to present and deliver training presentations surrounding product information.
  • Previous healthcare experience, preferably in large-scale health provider transformation, implementation, or development programs, and/or the following sectors: healthcare IT, electronic health records (EHR), analytics, systems integration, data warehouse and reporting.
  • Knowledge of and experience in using adult learning principles and a variety of educational design approaches (e.g. simulation, web-based training, eLearning).
  • Knowledge of web capability and web-based tools and resources such as e-learning tools and software programs.
