FUND CUSTODY FOCUS
The Fund Custody department provides custody services to a variety of Private Funds and 1940 Act Mutual Funds. As a Qualified Custodian, Millennium holds underlying assets and cash for the benefit of the Fund. Out team will processes all investments, redemptions, expense payments, incoming monies from investors and investments, along with any other transactions at the request of the Fund. We also furnish quarterly statements to the Fund and its investors as requested.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERIEW
Our Summer Internship Program is paid, runs ten weeks, and offers students opportunities to develop their professional skills while obtaining hands on practical experience in the financial services industry. We invite applications from entrepreneurial minded students working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT or related area or study.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to start June 1, 2022 (internship goes through August 5, 2022)
- Must be a Junior or Senior in fall 2022
- Ability to commit to hybrid work environment (office is based in Oak Brook, IL)

- Participating in challenging work assignments to increase knowledge and gain valuable experience within fund custody - these assignment in may include:
- Reviewing data files received from clients and/or investment sponsors
- Processing the re-registration of assets
- Executing asset & cash transactions as directed, including but not limited to alternative assets, traditional assets, the opening of brokerage accounts, processing of client subscription and redemptions, fund expense payments, etc.
- Monitoring and releasing funds from external bank accounts (as needed)
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Researching, organizing, analyzing, and summarizing information for a variety of programs and subjects
- Collaborating and partnering with team members to identify and resolve matters of varying complexity
