The Platform Services team is a key part of the Enterprise Infrastructure and Security group, that incubates and commercializes emerging technology solutions to accelerate innovation, and enables Enterprise applications assets to be unlocked through chatbots via APIs & Microservices. As a member of this team you will be part of a rapid development team. You will incubate and develop chat tools, APIs, and automate/augment functionality of off-the-shelf products to remove friction or create new experiences for users. You have a passion for creating world-class web and/or mobile user experiences
Design, develop, test and maintain software applications that remove friction from processes.
Design and develop secure and highly performant web applications with REST based integrations to key enterprise applications.
Enable Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions through chatbots
Translate customer needs into UX/UI that enables the ability to deliver personalized and contextual information in real-time
Create customer-facing Intelligent Virtual Agents that are channel-customized across Chat, Messaging, SMS.
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues identified and document test results.
Initiate and participate in production rollout processes.
Research new technologies and implement them to make business processes and interactions easier for users.
Become an evangelist for the tools and technologies that we implement to enable easier adoption by developers/users.
Collaborate with other teams in IT and with our business stakeholders.
Collaborate with business leadership and IT service managers to understand the business requirements and strategy, and translate them into technology capabilities
Maintain a level of urgency towards timelines and results.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree in one of the following degree programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems.
Experience in a programming language like Java or Python and knowledgeable about Google API, HTML5/CSS3, JSON, XML, REST API
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree with a graduation date on or after December 2020
