About the Role

As a Civis Analytics Client Success Analyst Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting cutting-edge data science software. You’re someone with a technical mindset, comfortable querying databases and using code to optimize processes, looking to develop your soft skills with our technical user base.

You will also work as part of the Civis Analytics cross functional team to enable the success of our users, advocating user feedback and needs with Product Management and Engineering. You must be able to work well with others who approach problems from different perspectives, but you will be expected to challenge and improve the way we operate.

We are looking for individuals from a diversity of backgrounds with demonstrated quantitative and problem-solving skills. We value creativity, hard work, and on-the-job-excellence and offer competitive compensation. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Juniors and graduate students only. Our paid summer internships are a full-time, 10-12 week commitment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2020 graduate pursuing an undergraduate degree in social science, mathematics or statistics or a similarly analytical subject
• Experience working with external stakeholders
• Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams
• Complex problem solver
• Technical communication skills
• Experience working with data and/or databases via SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years enterprise software experience
• Coding (Python/RSQL/NoSQL) background
• Project management experience
• Experience in software training
• Experience in technical writing
