Professional Services – Intern/Consultant level
The Corptax Professional Services Group offers a full solution of services to enhance a corporate tax department’s ability to deliver value-added contributions to their organizations around utilization of the Corptax software. The scope of services will encompass Tax Process Automation, Software Implementation, and Financial Systems Integration across areas of taxation including US and International Corporate Income Tax.
Responsibilities:
Employee will work with a team of client services representatives the implementation of new tax software products and the optimization of existing products. The employee should be able to demonstrate understanding of client’s business, identify tax system and process improvement opportunities, offer creative solutions, and deliver within budget and on time. This will involve working with the team to build client relationships, identifying the need for software and/or services, setting expectations as to requirements and related fees, successfully marketing to clients, and coordinating efforts, when appropriate, with Corptax sales personnel.
Technical and Professional Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the Corptax approach, methodology & tools
Establish consultative working relationships with client personnel
Keep clients informed of the tax and tax software developments that affect their business
Help clients interpret and integrate tax considerations into their business strategy
Qualifications:
Working towards or holding a Bachelor of Science in Accounting , Masters in Accounting or Masters in Tax
Strong academic credentials and interpersonal skills
Work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs) preferred
Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office
Ideally experience with a tax software product such as Corptax, Onsource, AACTS, Fastax, Taxware, Sabrix, etc
