Chicago-based Freeosk, Inc. is on the hunt for an inquisitive, fearless and fun-loving copywriter-in-training to join our creative team three days a week.

Writing for a shopper audience may be your calling. You’ve got a thing for punchy headlines and crunchy content. You enjoy jumping into online research and uncovering everything from trademark records to party hacks.

You’re hungry to contribute to a variety of creative projects, from retail, digital and social media campaigns, to consumer-facing kiosk programs, to internal communication projects.

And you enjoy collaborative situations involving friendly, energetic people who like to share, play, and learn.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Assisting copywriters in generating headlines, body copy, thematics and templated decks as needed
• Generating social media copy, responding to audience questions/comments
• Conducting audits of various types, including promotion names, trademarks, retailers
• Researching and aggregating tips, hacks, recipes and other source content
• Contributing content to company newsletter as needed
• Offering a “second set of eyes” in a proofreading and copyediting capacity
• Providing support on Freeosk Inc. marketing materials

About you:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or similar - recommended for upcoming Junior or Seniors
• Live in Chicago area and are available to work in the Freeosk office up to 24 hours per week

Candidates will be asked to provide copywriting samples and complete an assignment as part of our interview process. We look forward to meeting you!
