Starting with residential real estate, where 8% of all homes sold in the US last year had a Matterport 3D tour, the company has changed how people experience physical spaces. Our product offering is selling exponentially in new markets like apartment and vacation rentals, hotels, event venues, insurance, retail environments, as well as architecture, engineering, and construction.
We have an end-to-end system for crafting, experiencing, and changing cloud-based immersive 3D models of real spaces. Our product suite improves the way people experience and visualize physical spaces making it incredibly fun and practical for users to move through real world spaces as if they were there.

We need someone to execute advanced analytics and statistical modeling projects related to platform engagement, customer segmentation, buying behavior analysis, customer retention analysis, industry cross
engagement trends, etc.
Help Matterport kick start its Customer Engagement initiative by developing insights from
customer behavior and usage analytics, and translate those into specific and tailored
outreach action plans for Matterport’s Customer Success organization to help our
customers be successful with our products from day 1. Be a key contributor and thought
leader to help our customers win.
What you’ll need to do:
- Utilize linear/logistic regression and other statistical techniques, as well as decision trees and clustering analyses to study customer behavior
- Independently extract and integrate data from multiple data systems (including writing complex SQL queries) to support analytical efforts.
- Develop understanding of a la carte and subscription based business models.
- Develop data analysis and status reports as required
- Identify new ideas and opportunities for analytic projects.

Our tools are already used by thousands of professionals in a variety of industries, including insurance, architecture, construction, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality, and location-scouting, as well as by hobbyists who just want to dive into 3D capture.
