Data Analyst Intern
GoHealth is looking for an Operational Analytics Intern to work with GoHealth’s business units to drive insights-driven decisions that contribute to GoHealth’s long-term strategy and success. This paid internship will include working on projects that span across the department’s operation units and functions, with a focus on using analytics and business insights to identify high-impact opportunities and determine the optimal approach to capture them.
Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect our current and future employees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding and each role day-to-day. Please consider that our roles will not be remote long-term and will return to an office setting once we're safe to do so following the guidance of local health authorities’ and the CDC.
Responsibilities:
- Work across all business units, assisting with internal projects and strategic initiatives to improve growth and profitability
- Partner with business units to provide meaningful analysis that helps formulate business strategy
- Quantify growth and cost savings opportunities through financial / statistical models and analyses
- Track and report KPI performance for business units
Skills and Experience:
- Rising senior pursuing a degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, marketing analytics, MIS, computer science or engineering
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated interested in learning about a business and using data to solve problems
- Practical experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong academic performance (minimum GPA = 3.2/4.0)
- Preferred: Technical acumen and desire to learn Tableau, SQL, & Python
