Description

Our Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a two year accelerated rotational program that nurtures a creative work environment full of talented individuals with a variety of thoughts, ideas and backgrounds. The goal of the program is to help you build a foundational knowledge of our business and leadership competencies to prepare you for a management position at the end of the program. Paylocity is seeking sharp, self-motivated juniors with an interest in learning about Paylocity and the Emerging Leaders Program throughout their summer internship. 

 

The focus of this internship will be to learn more about the Operations department and serve as an opportunity to be considered for the full-time, two year rotational program post-graduation. You will work in a position on one of our operations teams, participate in a cross-functional project, and also partake in leadership development opportunities with members of the full-time program. At the end of the summer, both you and Paylocity will have the chance to assess if the Emerging Leaders program is the right fit for you!

 

Performance Objectives:

  • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities, learn and adapt to various business areas 
  • A self-motivated individual eager to learn, ask questions and collaborate with others to learn our Operations business 
  • Excels in a fast paced and changing environment 
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment with a willingness to share your ideas 
  • Passionate about creating excellent client experiences which help our clients to enhance their employee engagement 

Education & Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program with an anticipated graduation of Spring 2021 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities 
  • Outstanding academic record 
  • Strong interpersonal communication, writing and organizational skills 
  • Must be effective with Analytical/Problem solving ability 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity 
  • Customer focus – ability to manage client interactions 
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Strong initiative and bias for action
