Projects and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing of processes and procedures for understanding, clarity, and alignment to current practices
- Reviewing and updating the control environment, including understanding the risks that the controls mitigate
- Learning and understanding the Archer platform, and how it is used to manage GRC at OCC
Candidate Qualifications:
- Understanding of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to critically think and ask questions to understand processes, risks and control activities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
What knowledge and skills will the intern gain from this internship?
- Understanding of risks and controls, including what a control is, how to identify a control and how to write a control
- Understanding of the Archer eGRC tool – how to navigate the tool, update and link records and generate reports
- Knowledge of working in a regulated environment and the importance of accurate control environment documentation to support the execution of processes
