Dynamics of the Role

This position will support the Financial Services vertical, which is the largest vertical within the USIS segment.  Responsibilities will include various financial and business support functions, which consist of preparing various financial analyses, participating in the budgeting and forecasting process, and assisting the business with ad-hoc requests and special projects.  The position will primarily interact with VPs within the business, with some exposure to executive level management within the Financial Services vertical.

 

The Team’s Focus

The USIS/USIT Accounting and Finance team partners with the USIS and USIT business to provide financial insight into business performance while helping inform and support decision-making processes.  Activities include reporting key business performance indicators; strategic planning; annual budgeting and forecasting; variance analysis and the preparation of executive reports and presentations.  Members of the team regularly collaborate with and advise top-level executives within the business organization, gaining in-depth exposure to the operation and performance of the business.  Associates have strong planning and analytical skills, GAAP knowledge, the ability to interpret and clearly explain data to non-Finance leadership and enjoy ongoing opportunities to support the business and improve business performance.     

 

How You’ll Contribute: 

  • Support/assist in preparation of monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts and annual budget cycle through the preparation of reporting and analysis.
  • Support respective business owners by researching questions and investigating variances on financial statements
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and assists in special projects, focused to improve forecasting accuracy and provide additional business insight
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above required.
  • Currently a Junior or Senior.
