The Role

The Digital Marketing Intern will report to Paro’s Senior Manager of Web Strategy. In this role, they will work with a variety of team members on the marketing team. This intern will be passionate about marketing as a growth driver as well as the opportunity to join a start-up that is changing how companies and professionals approach finance and accounting.

In this role, you will work with common marketing platforms such as: Wordpress, Hubspot. This role will support practical marketing functions on a daily basis. You will know and understand how to work with a medium-size business. This role is for someone who aspires to understand business as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creative thought process for Paro, including recommendations for landing pages, blogs, designs, etc. 
• Assist with any and all marketing initiatives, including potential for some design creative
• Work directly with the Senior Manager of Web Strategy in managing and evolving our website
• Conduct SEO research and support Paro’s growth in SEO through content writing and editing
• Continually learn about industry trends and marketing developments, with the goal of finding new opportunities for Paro to pursue
• Implement web page implementation tasks within Wordpress

Requirements

• A passion for website development & design
• Proficiency with some of or all of the following: 
  • HTML / Website Inspection
  • Wordpress
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop)
  • Google Analytics, Ahrefs
  • Project Management
  • SEO Basics
• Experience with a variety of marketing tools is a plus
