What You'll Bring

Minimum 15 years leading professional internal investigations in a fraud, regulatory, or compliance environment

Minimum 10 years implementing and/or managing a global whistleblower hotline

Experience designing, implementing, and conducting global fraud risk assessments

Demonstrated organizational, project management and project delivery skills within a dynamic matrixed environment

Extensive experience and expertise conducting employee interviews and interrogations

CFE, CCEP, CRCM, ACAMS or equivalent designation, or commitment to obtaining CFE within 1 year of hire

Regular availability to work outside normal business hours, and occasionally travel on short notice as needed

Impact You'll Make

Internal Investigations

Independently plan, execute, coordinate, and report on significant and highly sensitive internal domestic and international fraud investigations

Create and maintain an internal fraud policy for investigations involving employees, contractors, and vendors

Develop and continuously enhance detailed procedures and workflows for conducting internal investigations and whistleblower claims

Partner with the Anomaly Detection & Monitoring team to design, implement, and periodically update internal fraud detection projects, to include utilizing data analytics to identify employee fraud or misconduct

Serve as TransUnion’s subject matter expert for all investigations involving an employee or other insider

Provide ongoing guidance and training to investigators on best in class internal investigations techniques, including conducting interviews and interrogations across the company’s global footprint

Create, implement, refines and manages Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators to determine the cost and impact of internal fraud, and identify opportunities to proactively protect the company against emerging internal fraud risks

Operate as the primary point of contact for internal investigations with Transunion market leaders, Human Resources, Legal, and other key stakeholders

Collaborate with Transunion business leaders and control function owners involved in multidisciplinary investigations

Whistleblower Hotline

Maintain oversight of Transunion’s whistleblower hotline and website, including production of regular reporting to Executive Management and the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors

Manage the triage, assignment and investigation of incidents reported to the TransUnion whistleblower hotline and website

Responsible for issue management and resolution relating to any internal fraud or whistleblower hotline matters requiring attention received from regulatory bodies, as well as internal/external audit findings

Create a training and outreach program to inform and educate Transunion employees on the whistleblower hotline

Develop and actively maintain cross-functional relationships across the enterprise to identify potential opportunities for program enhancements

Other Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of global Fraud Risk Assessments and work with the business to implement fraud mitigation strategies, processes and technologies

Assist with managing the caseloads of investigators and ensure investigations are being completed in a timely and effective manner

Collaborate regularly with the Anomaly Detection & Monitoring team to institute improvements to existing rule sets and devise new rule sets
