Charmac partners with brands to create, manage and grow their presence on Amazon. For brands already on Amazon, we have partnered to 5x their revenue; for brands not on Amazon, we have grown their volume from 50 units sold per month, to 1,000+ units sold per month. 

We are looking for outstanding interns who are extremely organized and hungry to learn. This is NOT an internship where you will be getting coffee and making copies. You will be working hand-in-hand with the leadership team to help move the needle and do work that matters. 

Marketing Intern Responsibilities

• Create original pieces of content for our website (with direction from the team) 
• Assist other members of the team with creating additional pieces of content 
• Revamp and update our company (B2B) social media properties (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc) 
• Create and update our in-house brand (B2C) social media properties (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc)
• Research and update information on industry trade shows 
• Create a database of Chicago-area companies that work with the same type of companies we do 
• Assist with the administration, organization, and planning of a new e-commerce meetup group

Business Development Intern Responsibilities

• Source and qualify prospects through internet research 
• Enroll prospects in our automated outbound prospecting process 
• Increase outbound email response rates by performing A/B tests of messaging 
• Schedule initial screening calls with interested prospects
• Research & evaluate exhibitors for trade shows 
• Assist sales with call prep, pricing and deck creation
   

Requirements

• Junior or senior at Chicago-area university OR recent college graduate (local to Chicago) 
• Interest in consumer products / CPG brands 
• Interest in startups 
• Can bring your own laptop
