The Challenge
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR/Talent Intern to join us this summer! This is a role for someone who is mega-organized and detail-oriented. The HR/Talent team at oak9 is all about the people, so you should value contributing to a communicative, transparent, inclusive company. The HR/Talent intern is integral for creating a smooth candidate experience and engaging employee experience.
The Skillset
- Ability to work from our Chicago (River North) office 1 day per week and remotely 4 days a week, part-time
- Highly organized and able to maintain multiple work streams
- Excellent written communication skills
- Deep desire to learn and hunger to do your best
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward
- Customer facing experience preferred
In 2 weeks, you will...
- Get to know oak9! Learn about our systems, processes, people, and vision
- Create relationships with key stakeholder
- Post new jobs to our applicant tracking system and other job boards
- Build Interview ‘scorecards’ for various interview types
In 1 month, you will...
- Gather details for and create first drafts of descriptions
- Build onboarding training schedules for new hires
- Coordinate and communicate interview schedules
In 3 months, you will...
- Research creative benefit offerings
- Participate in other adhoc projects with the team
