We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter to join our team as an HR Intern. The HR Intern will provide top-notch administrative support by contributing to the core functions of our HR Ops team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable HR experience within the areas of benefits, HRIS, and onboarding, continually ensuring we are providing an exceptional employee experience.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare new hire documents and support the onboarding process, including orientation
- Maintain employee personnel files with new hire and departure paperwork
- Assist with managing our Employee Recognition Program; making recommendations on program enhancements
- Utilize our HRIS to review, maintain, and organize employee data; troubleshooting systems as needed
- Support an ongoing HRIS transition, ensuring a high level of accuracy and operational excellence
- Conduct monthly audits to reconcile against multiple benefit provider statements
- Assist in organizing and archiving our HR drive
- Liaise with and support employee questions
- Collaborate with team members on ad hoc project tasks and deliverables
- Perform other duties as required
What you’ll need:
- Current enrollment in undergraduate program; Major/Specialization in Human Resources, Psychology or related area
- A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to set priorities and multitask
- Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results driven team environment
- Proficiency with MS Office
