As an intern with our Information Security team, this role will be responsible for assisting in maintaining Paylocity’s information security policies, standards, and procedures and will work collaboratively with the entire organization to ensure that these documents are adhered. The position will help the team guarantee that Paylocity’s IT governance processes are properly designed and functioning efficiently. The role will also help certify that the organization maintains compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Required Experience:

· Junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in a Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field or equivalent experience, with proven academic record and minimum of 3.2 GPA

· Passion for information security

· Familiarity with federal and state legal regulatory requirements related to information security and privacy

· Well versed in the information security issues affecting financial service organizations and cloud based application service providers

· Have basic understanding of security related assurances (e.g., ISO 27001, SSAE-18, etc) and the basic tenants of enterprise risk management (vulnerability management, threat management, and risk treatment)

· Possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

· Be self-driven, creative, resourceful, and effective in problem solving

· Must be willing to learn how to work effectively in a team environment

During your three months, you would have:

· Assisted the team in ensuring that Paylocity continues to comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements

· Contributed to the Information Security team and contributed to many projects that you are proud of

· Found innovative ways to increase the quality of your work

· Exercised creativity and solved cool problems

· Demonstrated passion for security

· Shared your knowledge and interests with others

· Built relationships and had exposure to various types and levels of stakeholders across the organization

· Assisted in managing risks, escalating priorities and helping to resolve issues that could impact production quality
