Information Security Internship - Summer 2020
What You'll Bring:
- Major – Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mathematics / Information Science / Information Security / Data Analytics
- Year in School – Junior / Senior
- Core technologies required
- Strong understanding of various Linux & Windows operating systems
- Efficient with a scripting language (i.e. Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (FTP, HTTP, TCP, UDP, SMB, SSH, etc.)
- Basic understanding of some web-based services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Core soft skills - Self-starter / Detail oriented / Willingness to be challenged / Organized
- Previous experience – Prior internship in any role / Self-directed projects of similar scope

The Attack Surface Reduction team is responsible for evaluating TransUnion’s global attack surface and leading efforts to reduce its attack surface via the Secure Software Development Lifecycle and Vulnerability Management Framework.

What You Need to Know:
- This is a paid 12-week summer internship.
- Our Internship Program start dates are determined by your academic calendar! If on Semester system, your internship begins May 27th, 2020. If on Quarter system, your internship begins June 15th, 2020.
