Job Description

This role will play a key part in enabling this innovation and transformation. The individual will use their business and security expertise to make compliance more effective and efficient, enable better decisions by leaders, and influence individuals and departments throughout a global Fortune 500 company. This role will conduct assessments, manage, and report on IT general controls compliance and information security risk.

Responsibilities:

• Bring an innovative mindset to established security and risk practices to uncover new efficiencies.

• Primarily contribute to the development of risk analysis (quantitative vs qualitative) and the effectiveness of risk activities.

• Create and maintain supporting procedures.

• Support risk metrics and reporting.

• Engage technology and business leaders to understand and address compliance gaps and information security risks

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Intermediate mathematics

• Development experience plus

• High interest in information security.

• Working familiarity with IT General Controls, or other industry standards such as Nist CSF and ISO 27001 is a plus

• ISC2, ISACA, or other relevant certification (or equivalent experience) is a plus.

Basic Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with a graduation date on or after December 2021
