Instructional Design (ID) Intern
BenchPrep, a leader in enterprise SaaS learner success solutions, is looking for interns to join the Instructional Design Team part-time for Summer 2018! This 10-week unpaid internship program will begin mid-June and continue through early August.

Instructional Design (ID) Internship Program
As an ID intern at BenchPrep, you will learn about instructional design, educational technology, and the philosophy BenchPrep applies to online learning. As an ID team member, you will gain familiarity with a variety of subjects and areas—including test prep, certification prep, college and career readiness materials, nutrition, real estate, and finance—for a variety of audiences. You will work alongside content managers and instructional design managers in transitioning course materials from print and other mediums to our platform to ensure learner success. In our fast-paced company, you will gain insight into working with various client types, including top-ten national publishers, major associations, and learning institutes. Ultimately, you will learn how to work in a thriving start-up culture!
Internship responsibilities include:
Assure quality of learning materials ingested into our platform, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Review and resolve user feedback submitted through our platform
Create documentation on procedures as requested
Analyze source materials for optimal representation and reorganization on our platform
Assist content managers and instructional design managers in creating courses
Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student
20 hours per week of availability (schedules are flexible)
Majors: Education, Teaching, English, Communications; others majors are welcome to apply
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
Interest in education and educational technology
Self-starter work ethic
Optional: HTML and CSS knowledge
