Intern, Experiential Marketing: Creating engaging experiences is inherent to the RXBAR brand. From 360 experiential campaigns, to influencer events, sales tradeshows, to CrossFit Games and more, RXBAR creates innovative experiences for trade members and our target consumer audiences to drive awareness, trial, and brand affinity.

The internship role will entail event research, proper coordination, logistics management and strong event execution, all critical to enhancing the RXBAR brand. The Intern, Experiential Marketing will gain exposure to many facets of the organization through event planning and execution with the end goal of driving brand loyalty, awareness, trial and sales of RX products.

The ideal candidate is well-organized, has a strong work ethic and can manage multiple projects at once, as well as a strong intellectual curiosity and passion for building brands through Experiential Marketing. This is a short-term internship with potential to progress into a full-time position. This position reports to the Senior Associate of Experiential.

**Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week from January 2019 to May 2019**

General Functions + Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the Senior Associate of Experiential with planning, creative development, production, cross functional collaboration and event execution for their assigned focus areas
• Research and manage event details, materials & assets for local events tied to our field marketing program
• Partner with field marketing to staff local events, specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
• Evaluate all incoming event requests and respond to inquiries accordingly
• Assist with ordering and shipping event supplies and materials
• Partner with operations team to facilitate product ordering
• Onsite event management including set up and tear down
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems
• Conduct all appropriate follow up and stewardship after each event including post event recaps, budget actuals and suggestions for improvement
• Oversee and book all travel and lodging needs
• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
• Act as a brand champion at all events
• Assist other team members as needed

Skills and Qualification:

• Previous experience in event management
• Currently earning (to be completed by June 2019) or a completed bachelor’s degree in communications, event management, experiential, marketing or related field
• Strong organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage workload to meet deadlines, while ensuring a high standard of quality
