CCC Jumpstart Summer Internship Program

Our program is designed to #CCCJumpstart your career! At CCC, you will work and learn alongside innovative and inspiring leaders and gain valuable experience working on real business solutions in a corporate setting. You will also have an opportunity to participate in unique events throughout the summer from professional development workshops to Lunch and Learn events with CCC colleagues and leaders.

Job Duties

This opportunity is a paid, full-time, summer internship. There will be two cohorts for the upcoming CCC Jumpstart class:

• May 20th, 2019 - August 16th, 2019
• June 24th, 2019 – September 13th, 2019

Please note that there is no housing offered for non-local candidates.

Job Duties

Throughout the program, you will work and gain exposure in the below areas:

• Learn evaluating defenses through collaborative exercises designed to measure incident detection and response, identifying critical areas of risk and performing gap analysis on exercise results
• Gain experience in cybersecurity, addressed in new and/or existing business and technology initiatives; including infrastructure, application development, mobile and cloud solutions. 
• Assist in completing day-to-day management and operations of assigned security solutions and platforms to help detect security vulnerabilities and events which pose risk to the enterprise; performing platform lifecycle management activities (patching, upgrades, policy configuration, etc.) for assigned platforms and/or tools; continuously assessing existing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.
• Gain experience in application security validation techniques including static and dynamic code scanning.  Application penetration testing using BURP suite and other penetration testing tools.
• Gain experience in Identity Management for the enterprise; including account management, password configuration, Non-Person ID creation, Help Desk resolution and fulfillment of business customer access requests. business and IT staff for systems security related issues; educating users on systems security standards and procedures.
• Learn to perform control assessments and working with appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document remediation plans. Works collaboratively with corporate compliance, internal auditing and corporate risk management and various technical teams in the design and implementation of audit, risk assessment and regulatory compliance practices for IT.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date between December 2019 - June 2020

- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

- Proficient with MS Office, Word and Excel.

- Good knowledge of technology and Cyber Security

- Ability to use virtual machines, OS installation and installing and configuring software packages

- A strong desire and passion to learn about cyber security, computer hacking, and cyber investigation.
