You will work on client infrastructure projects where you can gain valuable experience while delivering projects that make a difference. What we’re looking for: 

• Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a BA/BS in Information Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong interpersonal and time management skills. 
• Experience with UNIX systems and solid scripting skills
• Solid understanding of data structure and algorithms in addition to development concepts.
• Basic knowledge or working experience with network protocols for routing and access
• Someone who is self-motivated and driven to get results and make an impact while utilizing strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively. 
• Someone who is team oriented and able to develop positive relationships with coworkers and other partners involved.
• Experience with troubleshooting VMware, Windows & Linux operating systems
• Knowledge or working Experience in Firewall/security (access control list (ACL) management., secure remote management practices, IDS, etc.)
• Knowledge or working Experience building and configuring the network infrastructure to support and secure major Internet host/network services, including but not limited to: web (http, SSL, etc.), DNS, NFS, NIS/NIS+, databases (Oracle) and Java
• Drive for continuous learning and development
• Microsoft Office skills including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Availability to work a 40-hour week within standard business hours throughout the summer. 
• Authorization to work in the US; without sponsorship as a full-time coworker. 

What you’ll do:
The IT Infra internship will give you the opportunity to experience IT Infrastructure Implementation ranging from planning, building Networks & systems, creating & updating documentation. This internship will provide students with a great opportunity to achieve the following objectives:

• Develop a basic understanding of overall IT Infrastructure tools and processes to help ensure success of the overall project.
• Develop/maintain system and network documentation and operating procedures
• Create Automation scripts for any manual tasks.
• Create System Builds for enterprise customers.
• Manages the development and execution of medium to large complex, multi-phased projects.
• Ensure all project documentation activities are fully completed
• Review and update any old Project documentations
